A welcome from the CIO

Welcome to ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿ Library & Information Technology Services (LITS).

LITS brings together library, academic, and administrative technologies to support teaching, learning, research, and campus operations. Our integrated approach reflects a core belief: access to information and the thoughtful use of technology are essential to an inclusive, rigorous, and connected academic community.

We are navigating a period of rapid change, including the expanding role of digital scholarship and the emergence of new tools such as generative AI. In this work, we are committed to ensuring that innovation is guided by our academic values: intellectual curiosity, ethical engagement, accessibility, and belonging.

Our priorities include supporting meaningful research and classroom engagement, stewarding our collections and digital assets, maintaining secure and resilient infrastructure, and strengthening data-informed decision-making. Most importantly, we strive to make sure every member of the Bryn Mawr community feels supported and empowered in their work.
