Navigating the complexities of college simultaneous to balancing comprehensive wellness is a challenge. To ensure student success, Bryn Mawr has committed to effectively serve and support the whole student, both in and outside of the classroom, to find that balance. We want our students to thrive academically while also feeling fulfilled in all other aspects of their lives at and beyond the college. Through advising, programming, and mentorship, our student success team is dedicated to supporting them in their holistic journey.

Refer a Student of Concern

If you’re concerned about a student, please utilize this  to make a report. Students, staff, faculty, and community members are able to make a referral. Once a referral is made, Student Support Services and/or the appropriate Class Dean will complete outreach to the referred student and invite them to meet in-person, over zoom, or via phone to discuss concerns, resources, and actions to address needs. 

If there is an immediate concern for a student’s safety, please contact Campus Safety at 610-526-7911.


Academic Information and Reminders

  • October 3: Where to Start Workshop for Seniors, 10:30am-11:30am, virtual workshop register .
  • October 6: Night Owls: Thesis/Capstone Group for Seniors, 6pm-7pm, Writing Center.  
  • October 6: Fall-ing into Place: Pumpkin painting, conversation and snacks for First Year students from 7-8pm in the Campus Center Main Lounge.
  • October 7: Study Abroad Mixer from 8-9pm in the Lusty Cup.
  • October 10: Deadline to declare Credit/No Credit for full semester courses at 5pm. 
  • October 10: Fall break begins after last class! Have a great break! 
  • October 17: Deadline to sign up for the Forte Career Ready Certificate offered through Career & Civic Engagement. 
  • October 20: Classes resume at 8 a.m. today.
  • October 21: Junior & Senior Fireside Chat: Fellowships from 5:30-6:30pm, location TBD. 
  • October 24: First quarter (including PE) courses end.
  • October 27: Second quarter (including PE) courses begin.
  • October 28: Bryn Mawr information session from 4:15-5:15pm in Dalton Hall 2
  • October 29: Haverford information session from 4:15-5:15pm in Union Hall 111.
  • October 30: virtual information session from 7-8pm.  
  • October 31: Last day to add a second quarter course.
  • November 3-14: Pre-Registration for Spring 2026.
  • November 5: Withdrawal deadline for full-semester courses.
  • Credit/No Credit (CR/NC)
    • The CR/NC deadline is October 10!

    • Students have 4 opportunities to declare a course CR/NC during their time at Bryn Mawr. 

    • Only one course can be taken CR/NC in any semester. 

    • Students may not take any courses in their major department under the CR/NC option, but they may use it to take courses towards the Emily Balch Seminar, Quantitative, Quantitative and Mathematical Reasoning, Distribution or Foreign Language Requirements. 

    • No student is permitted to sign up for CR/NC after the deadline.

    • Once the deadline for sign-up has passed, a student may not reverse the decision or otherwise "uncover the grade," except by declaring a major in the department.

    • Bryn Mawr students are bound by Bryn Mawr CR/NC rules, even when the course being taken CR/NC is at Haverford, Swarthmore, or Penn. 

    • Haverford students taking Bryn Mawr courses must register for CR/NC at the Haverford Registrar’s Office.

The Class Deans hold drop-in hours in Guild from 3-4pm Monday through Thursday. If you need assistance please come to Guild to meet with a Class Dean

For Faculty

The Student Success Office oversees the academic and personal well-being of undergraduates at the College. Faculty work with the Student Success Office on matters ranging from curriculum and registration to the problems encountered by individual students.
