Biography
Chelsea DiCarlo is a seasoned communications and marketing professional with over 15 years of experience in higher education. Her expertise spans public relations, social media, marketing, and web strategy, bringing a holistic perspective to every project.
As Web Editor at ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿, Chelsea contributes to the management and execution of the College's web content strategy and oversees daily website operations. She collaborates closely with campus partners to ensure a seamless, user-centered digital experience. A key member of the Web & Digital Strategy team in the Office of College Communications, she oversees website improvement initiatives, enforces web content best practices, and provides data-driven insights through regular analytics and accessibility reporting. In 2023, she received a Senior Staff Award for her outstanding contributions.
Chelsea’s previous roles in higher education include serving as Social Media Manager at ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿, Academic Affairs Communications and Digital Media Manager at West Chester University, Coordinator of Student Life Marketing at the Community College of Philadelphia, and Public Relations and Social Media Manager at Atlantic Cape Community College. While at Atlantic Cape, she earned Public Relations Society of America Pepperpot and Ladle Awards for her work on the 2010 and 2011 Atlantic Cape Community College Restaurant Gala campaigns.
An experienced educator, Chelsea has taught Business Communication at the Fox School of Business at Temple University, Public Speaking at Atlantic Cape Community College, and a range of English and communication courses at Rowan College of Gloucester County.
She holds an M.S. in Broadcast Journalism from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.
Outside of work, Chelsea enjoys reading, yoga, and spending time at the beach with her family and beloved Shih Tzus.
